Where are great Founders coming from and what Ways of Life they have behind them are two important Questions in Entrepreneurial Research.

The Following Link is a virtual Journey into the rich Backgrounds of diverse Founders with a +1 Billion Hit.

But why is this maybe something of your interest, you may ask?

Because it can help you to keep focused and follow your Ideas, Ventures and Career with a longterm Mindset.

Many of us thinks probably, that you need to be a Harvard or Cambridge like Guy with some Finance Experience and rich Parents…

But this cool interactive Research shows you the Truth. Founders are most likely from every Walks of Life. They are as diverse as Humanity. (But we need definitely more Woman there 👸)

Again, this shows that you need to be patient. Many successful Founders started their Ventures in their late 30’s and many of them don’t have an “elite” CV.

It’s more all about Grit.

The following Post is a great Start-Strategy for all of you, which also want to start a Newsletter. Then I read that, I immediately got reminded that a Strategy don’t need well planed out Milestone-Plans and the alike…

Just focus on the important Stuff and bring some “Extras” on not everyone would do to drive their Growth.

Alex Brogan did all of this already and is reaching Thousands of People with his Content.

Here are his “Extra”-Pro-Tips in a nutshell:

  • Send a personal email thanking your first 100 subscribers for signing up and asking them to share your Newsletter with 1x other person.

  • Provide a special incentive for being one of the first [x] subscribers (a 1:1 call, giveaway, digital product, etc.).

  • Create a lead magnet (like a short email course or downloadable PDF asset) that’s EXTRA valuable in exchange for people’s emails.

Reminds me the Y-Combinator-Mantra: “Do Things which don’t Scale”.

But again. I repeat that often. In Business general no-one cares about where you learned your Stuff. As long as you deliver you will be successful.

The only Advantage you may get from the Ivey League is Access to a high Status-Network. (and a big Loan on your Money-life)
