# 1 - 💦 Don't get to "Soaked" in a finnish Sauna 🇫🇮

I know, I know, I know... American VC's are on steroids compared to European VC's, but It's not all about muscle and size...

Jyri Engeström is another proof, that we also have smart Investors you could call when starting a Seed Round & don't have to start sweating if the US-VC's rejecting you.

Jyri is a strong Thinker and gives great Advice about "Smartcuts" in this Podcast Episode of Soaked. (I really can recommend to give them a follow too)

I really looking forward to visit Slush Festival in the future. This Finnish Guys know how to build Businesses in a calm but smart way. (Just look at the food delivery company "Wolt")

There is not that much you should focus on starting a Startup. If you listen to this Book, the answer is just two Things.

The first half is to get something out the Door what people want... (We will cover that topic in later Issues again, but psst.... Y Combinator Library will help you with this)

The other half is the holy Grail to get Funding...

It's Traction!!!

And yes, Traction is a diverse Topic too. Did you know that there are 19 different Channels to grow Traction at all?

In October 2017, Nikita founded the App "to be honest" and gained more than 5 Million Downloads in no time. It took him just some months to sell it to Facebook. (Damn Mark is really hard in this acquisition game)

"tbh" was bringing the "Fishing for Compliments"-Method into the social media era and just let you ask the people around questions about you. The twist is, that everything is anonymous, except if you pay and get the names of your secret crush. (What a Business Model!!!)

But after his fast Exit to Facebook, Nikita did it just again with his new App "Gas". Look at this amazing growth curve here:

In a matter of Days he signed up Millions of User again just from American High Schools and sold "Gas" with the same Idea in the end to Discord.
