๐ฉ๐ช The German Wunderkind in Cyberspace (no not Dirk) ๐
Read time: 4.20 Minutes
Servus Friends,
last week we looked into the current Banking Problems and how to prompting good Questions in the Switzerland Issue. ๐จ๐ญ
This Time we turn back to focus more on methods again, which help us to win.
First we will start with a local Berlin Startup Hero, the German Wunderkind Chris Reber. In addition we dive into important Things about Growth.
As promised, next Monday I start a two week Copywriting Course to learn more about how to convert Users better in the Future. Of course I will share my Learnings here with you.
So stay tuned and enjoy...
The Things we are digging in Today:
๐ Christian Reber: The pitching Wunder(-list)kind ๐ฉ๐ช
๐ฒ 3 Things about Growth from "Milk Road" Founder Shaan Puri ๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ณ
#Twitter-Box: ๐ค The "AI-Leverage" in full Beauty... ๐ช

# 1 - ๐ Christian Reber: The pitching Wunder(-list)kind ๐ฉ๐ช
Usually if we talk about the German Wunderkind, we talk about our "Perfect Shot" Dirk Nowitzki. (still #6 All Time Scorer in the NBA) ๐ฏ
No in terms of the entrepreneurial Space, we talk about the Wunderkind Christian Reber...
And if his Name is not ringing a bell to you, you may remember the App Wunderlist in the beginning of the Smartphone Era (+13 Million Users), which Christian and his famous Team of 6Wunderkinder sold for a sum of between 100-200 Million โฌ to Microsoft. ๐ฐ
The App later got shut down & turned into Office's "to Do". Maybe one of the worst mergers in the Microsoft History, but a warm Rain of Money for Chris and his Friends.
Today Chris is not just a renowned Early-Stage Investor, he also started his second successful Startup called Pitch, which is in my opinion a way cooler Tool than Powerpoint. (Chris is really bulling hard on Microsoft ๐)
Chris is maybe one of the most interesting Founders in Germany. In the following Interview he is talking about his Learnings along the Way with Wunderlist & Pitch.
Keep Learning...
Chris is proof that great Design and Entrepreneurship is also possible from Europe without a sophisticated University-Background. You really should give Pitch a try for your next presentation, its really cool. Also listen to Chris if he speaks up, he's really a smart one...
# 2 - ๐ฒ User Numbers can grow like Trees, but you have to Rain them as well... ๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ณ
I promised you more methods again last Time, so let's turn to Growth Hacking...
We talked a lot about Product before, but without strong and repeatable Growth Strategies you won't make a Big Bang with your Idea. Because your Product not just have to solve an important Problem, People also have to know & get educated about it.
One of the best Guys I know in this Topic is "My First Million" Host" & "Milk Road" Founder Shaan Puri...
Shaan really knows his shit. He scaled his Crypto Newsletter "Milk Road" in 10 Months to more than 250K Readers and sold it already for Big Money, with just a very small Team. (read the Story here)
So in the following Blog-Post, Shaan is talking about his 3 most important Things he knows in terms of Growth. This should be first Lesson in every Growth and Marketing Class out there...
I don't have to many role models, but if I have to name someone it would be Shaan. Give him a listen in his Pod with Sam Parr. He really nails the Business Stuff despite being more of a lazy guy. He also shows that you not always have to think of the Billion โฌ Startup all the time.
#Twitter-Box: ๐ค The "AI-Leverage" in full Beauty... ๐ช
The Following is the Shit I mean with "use AI" in the last Issues, in terms of Automation...
I always think of at least learning a bit of writing code to get a better understanding for Software Engineers and digital Products. I still don't think to skip this part and I still believe that for all of us some basics will help us for our Success.
But AI can make Knowledge in some parts obsolete. You just have to know how to use the "AI-Leverage" for yourself...
This is just insaneโฆ
My GPT-4 coding assistant can now:
- build and design a frontend
- create a backend with working db
- correctly hook them up
- upload code to GitHub
- deploy it to VercelI can now build *complete* apps with nothing more than my voice.
The future is here!

You may not believe me but I promise, I write this Newsletter by hand for you every single time. The "AI-Leverage" is a two-sided Sword. On one Hand you have to know your stuff and especially how to use all the methods. On the other Hand, you may just have to focus on Stuff that AI can't help you with in the future.
At least we coming closer to the prototype of a 10x-Worker which is 10 times more effective than Workers which are not using "AI-Leverage".
